Is your contact info correct and current?
Make sure you provide us with accurate contact information when you apply—and notify us of any changes to your contact info while you’re on the waitlist.
Once a space opens up for your child, we will make every effort to contact you, but if you cannot be reached, unfortunately we must close your waitlist application and offer the space to the next eligible child.
Clarification on steps for adoptive parents
If you have applied for adoption, you are eligible to apply for our waitlist. You do not need to wait until the adoption is confirmed.
- When you complete the waitlist application, in the field labelled “Birth date”, please indicate the age you anticipate the child to be at the time of adoption.
- Once your adoption is confirmed/fulfilled, please contact the Child Care Administration Hub to provide us with the child’s age, so we can update your application.
In an effort to ensure equity for both adoptive and birth families, please note that we will adjust the application date to either:
- Nine months prior to the child’s birth date.
- Nine months prior to the application date.
We will select the more recent of the two dates.
Visiting our settings—prospective families
While we would like to offer the opportunity for prospective families to visit a setting when applying, due to the large number of applications we receive and settings we operate, we are not able to accommodate visits until we make an offer of enrolment (i.e., once your child reaches the top of the waitlist).
In the meantime, we hope that the information available about our settings will provide a sufficient overview. Additionally, please take some time to learn more about us, including our philosophy and pedagogical commitments, and meet our team.
When we make an offer of enrolment, families may have the opportunity to visit in the 24-hour window they are provided to accept or decline their offer.
