Owl at the Barn

Several species of Owl live on UBC’s Vancouver campus, and Owl at the Barn is said to have been named for one that was spotted near this setting—a converted barn from UBC’s bygone days as an agricultural university. Owl at the Barn is one of our two-license settings, where educators provide opportunities for engaging, self-directed learning and establishing a strong foundation of social skills, critical thinking and independence.
